Sunny Suggs of Boot Scootin’ Traffic just released her new site yesterday. It’s called All About My First List … and it’s quite simply a fantastic guide to list building. It’s a sure winner and a great introduction to a topic that so many new marketers really struggle with. It’s all broken down into bite size, easy to follow chunks with step by step instructions.

She’s thought of everything; products to promote, PLR for writing emails, in fact, you can even download a pre-written email series if you join as an Elite member!

The coolest thing though is the “One-Click” Squeeze page maker. She’ll even host the page for you! You’ll also get the chance to rebrand the entire site… now that’s bang for your buck.

Of course, you can join the site completely for free as well but the upgrade options are so cheap it would be silly to miss out, especially as it’s backed by Sunny’s 30 Day Money Back Guarantee.

Go now and see everything she has in store for you – All About My First List and get started on your own list building effort.

Over the years, we’ve all been taught that the best way to grow a sizeable mailing list is to give our visitors a great offer they can’t say no to. The most common way to attract more traffic and readers is to pay or trade with another marketer to have a popup window or hover ad on their site with your offer and hope that the visitors will be intrigued enough to sign up.

But more recently, we’re learning that popup ads, hover ads and all those other IM Tools used for advertising are simply driving visitors AWAY and leaving us with no sales and an unresponsive list.

Until now, there wasn’t a sure-fire way to get your ad noticed without getting on people’s nerves. One ad network is looking to change that – and do it all for free.

It’s called SlideUpAds and as IM Tools go, this one simply rocks. Leon Klepfish, the owner, may already be someone you’re aware of through his Header Ads site.

SlideUpAds is a unique, eye-catching way to advertise your site across an entire network without having to resort to distracting popups or banners.

With SlideUpAds, your ad appears at the bottom frame of the user’s screen, so they can still scroll on the web page without being interrupted on whatever they’re viewing. Since your ad slides up from the bottom gradually (and quickly), it’s more likely to get noticed without being distracting and abruptly closed.

SlideUpAds costs nothing to join and there’s no charge for any advertising. You simply fill out a short form and get the details of your account, then upload your ad and you’re ready to go! It’s simple and straightforward and most ads can be online within a few minutes.

For a limited time, SlideUpAds is also opening the doors to what they call a
“Viral Marketing Avalanche”. If you refer a friend and THEY join, you get 100% of that person’s credits. If your friend refers a friend, you get 100% of THEIR credits too! Of course, your friends still get to keep their credits, but it’s like getting double or even triple the exposure without doing any extra work! IM Tools that give you so many useful features just don’t come along every day.

Many people are reporting terrific success with SlideUpAds, particularly where popups and hover ads simply haven’t performed well in the past. Consider testing your current opt-in form with SlideUpAds and gauge the response for yourself – you may be pleasantly surprised at the results!

To learn more, visit SlideUp Ads – it’s free to join and there’s no membership fee. I simply can’t recommend this highly enough.

Still here? Get going! And do let me know what you think once you’ve signed up.

One of the biggest problems facing new marketers is time management and getting over the “information overload” which they face on a daily basis. From emails to Twitter, family interruptions to phone calls, it can be tough to get organised and productive.

Whether you are completely new to internet marketing or have been at the game for a while, here’s a video that you absolutely need to watch. It comes from Eben Pagan and was part of the launch for his “Waking Up Productive” programme. There’s nothing to buy or sign up for, just sheer valuable, no fluff content that makes essential viewing. I guarantee that if you pay attention, you’ll rethink your entire approach to your internet marketing business.

Remember to post and let me know what you thought.

Have you ever been faced with the task of having to write an email promotion to your list, and then realized that you didn’t know what to say or how to say it?

This is a common problem for people in internet marketing but especially for affiliate marketers with products to promote.

Michael Rasmussen’s new video course “Email Promos Exposed” takes care of this problem by walking you through the process of creating powerful email promotions step-by-step.

I wanted to see if the videos would live up to their promise by trying them out myself and here are my thoughts.

(By the way, if you’re in a hurry, here’s the link: Email Promos Exposed

Overall Quality

The first thing I noticed was the stunning production quality of the videos. Michael used Camtasia Studio for the production, which is now the industry standard for creating high-quality video products. The audio is near studio quality, and the graphics are very professional. So far so good!

What I liked most was the way Michael divided the videos up by section, and then again by sub-section. For example, one video is all about the subject line, and then there are different parts of that video that each cover a certain area of crafting a killer subject line. This makes them extremely easy for anyone who is new to writing emails to follow.

Now let’s move onto…

THE ACTUAL VIDEOS

Here’s a brief summary of the first 8 videos (there are 11 in all). Obviously it’s impossible to list every single thing here, but I want you to get a feel for some of the areas covered.

VIDEO 1 – INTRODUCTION

This video served as an introduction to the whole course. You get to see a picture of Michael, and he establishes his credibility right up front by talking about some of his successes online. He even provides proof of credibility by displaying two cheques in the amount of $50,000 and $25,000 which prove that he knows his stuff.

Take note of that. Whenever you’re teaching people how to do something, it’s good to establish your credibility up front, so that there’s no doubt about whether or not you’re qualified to talk about the subject.

VIDEO 2 – BEFORE YOU WRITE THE PROMO

This video talks about some things that no other marketer has bothered to mention. You’ll learn
things like:

* The mindset you need in order to write a killer promo

* The different tools you need before you get started

* How to keep your emails laser-focused

* How to create an outline that practically writes the email for you.

VIDEO 3 – THE SUBJECT LINE

I liked this video, because it talked about one of MY biggest weaknesses when it comes to writing
email promos… the subject line.

Michael breaks it down, and reveals:

* The biggest secret for writing a subject line that makes people insanely curious.

* Techniques for personalizing the subject line.

* Mistakes to avoid when using personalization.

I was surprised to find that I was making some of the mistakes that Michael mentioned.

VIDEO 4 – THE OPENING

This is where a lot of people slack off when writing their emails. Michael talks about how important it is to create an opening that is conversational, and then reveals techniques and examples on how to do that.

He also reveals:

* How to get people to keep reading your email once they’ve opened it.

* How to make your opening interesting.

* Mistakes to avoid when creating your first few paragraphs.

VIDEO 5 – THE BODY COPY

This is one of the “meatiest” portions of the course, because it reveals techniques that are not widely discussed in most eBooks on the topic. He talks about the importance of keeping your body copy tight and relevant, and then reveals how you can do that. You’ll also learn:

* How to write powerful bullets that make people curious and want to find out more.

* Simple formatting tricks for making your body copy easy to read.

* The secret of “bucket brigade copy” and how to use it in your email promos to force people to keep reading.

VIDEO 6 – THE CALL TO ACTION

This is where a lot of people wimp out. They start out strong, but when it comes time to ask the reader to take action, they don’t know what to say. Michael talks about some of his favourite techniques for making that happen, and also reveals:

* The “magic question” to ask yourself that will make your close much more powerful.

* The secret of the “unanswered question” and why handling this is a surefire way to get people to act right away.

* The structure of a powerful close.

* Mistakes people make when creating their close.

VIDEO 7 – CREATING AN EFFECTIVE P.S.

Some people say that the P.S. is one of the most important parts of the email, because it is often
the one thing that gets people to click the link at the end. In this video, Michael talks about:

* Why you should including a P.S. at the end of your email.

* The 4 different kinds of P.S.’s you can use (who knew there was more than one? A real eye-opener).

VIDEO 8 – COMMON MISTAKES PEOPLE MAKE

I loved this video, because it showed me some mistakes that I was making. Unless you’re a seasoned pro, you’re probably guilty of some of the things that Michael talks about in this video as well.

CONCLUSION

As you can see, Email Promos Exposed really packs a lot of punch! Most of the courses out there offer only watered down content. Not this one! These videos are going on my “A-list” for a long time.

I’ve already watched them three times, and plan on reviewing them every couple months.

If email marketing is an important part of your business (and in my opinion, it’s the most
important part of ANY online business), then you owe it to yourself to check out these new videos.

Here’s the URL where you can get instant free access to the videos right now.

As a newbie to internet marketing this is a good place to start getting your feet wet, asking questions and rubbing shoulders with people who can help you and who share the same mind set.

The features are truly superb. Not only can you network with other contacts in the same industry, which is VITAL, you can also build a Hyper Viral messageboard list through the addition of a list builder.

You can build a downline 5 levels deep and you are also rewarded with 10% of the credits earned from everyone in your downline!

Credits are used to determine how much you get in the revenue sharing pool which means, just from being an active user, ViralNetworks will share their revenue with you! How good is that?

Other excellent resources provided are;

and so much more.

The site is free to join although it has a great one time offer that is definitely worth considering. Check out the video below:

In recent years, the idea of working from home has become ever more appealing to those of us wishing to get out of the rat race, gain more quality time with our families and increase our disposable incomes.

Whether becoming an Avon representative, establishing a dog walking service or selling photography, there are a huge variety of options and each one has it’s own unique pros and cons. Some types of business can, for instance, require major capital investment, have higher overheads, issues with storage space or even see problem customers showing up on the doorstep!!

With the economy in it’s current state, there is no wonder that online business opportunities, such as internet marketing (IM), are gaining in popularity. The running costs are comparatively cheap, there’s no need for huge initial investment or expensive equipment, you aren’t required to carry physical stock and all you really need to get going is a computer and an internet connection.

With such obvious advantages on our side, why then do we hear every day that over 97% of would-be online marketers are failing to achieve any success? You may well ask. In truth, there are a multitude of reasons but let’s look at some of the most common and see if any of them sound familiar to you.

Information overload; there’s just too much to take in and learn

It’s too technical; web site creation, using autoresponders, traffic exchanges, link cloaking, tracking etc

Too much choice; don’t know what kind of market to target, what method of marketing to use

Hot opportunity jumping; bouncing from one Big Thing to the next and from launch to launch

Limited budget; can’t afford all the programmes, ebooks, courses, upgrades, memberships

Jargon; marketing is a whole different language to get your head around

Distractions; email, TV, playing zombies on Facebook (you know you do it!), housework, kids

If any of these apply to you… join the group because you’re not alone. Working from home sounds easy in principle but in reality it brings with it a new set of problems. Luckily, there are some very simple ways of combating all of them and I’ll be covering these subjects in future posts as we journey through the wonderful maze of internet marketing.
