For this week’s Midweek Moment, Monique and I have been drawn towards the colour yellow—maybe to remind us of sunny days and combat the grey of the current West Australian weather!
Monique’s photo is a daisy in an old-fashioned wooden cotton reel, and I’ve chosen some yellow pencils and wattle buds.
* Each week, Monique, of Write Note Reviews, and I select a photo to display on our blogs as a ‘Midweek Moment’. We hope you enjoy!
I do like thank you Louise. Sitting at the one cafe open in Bridgetown in the drizzle and chill, lovely to feast upon your yellow delights. Studying West Australian wildflower essences, we learnt yellow flowers are the natural antidote to depression (blue flower opposite). Never brave enought to wear yellow, but love to feast on yellow daisies or irises for a lift. Thank you for the yellow tonic.
Thanks, Nicola. I’m glad we could bring some brightness to your day. I agree about wearing yellow–there’s not too many people can pull it off!
