Our Midweek Moment is full of Autumn colour:
After the storms at the weekend, and as Autumn ebbs and the air chills, many of the trees are already stripped bare. However, the skies cleared briefly yesterday morning, and I managed to find some sunlight and colour.
After a few months’ break (working on other projects), Monique has returned to her novel. As it always takes a while to reacquaint herself with the characters and settings, she’s been looking through photos of the area in which the story is set. She loved this photo of a road on a cool Autumn day—it made her want to follow it and see where it leads.
I love the colours in the leaves—shades of green and yellow, and also burnt orange and mauve and blue. What a magical setting for a story!
